Volunteer for a timing shift (or one of the other swim meet duties) and receive a free drink ticket. Families who don't volunteer are charged $100 at the end of the season.
Swim Meet Timing
Help with timing races at home meets, tracking finishes, and passing out awards and ribbons. This is the primary volunteer opportunity each season. Sign up early and fill in gaps where you see them.

Help sell raffle tickets at the Venetian to support DYC hosting the 2027 MICSA Finals. We need parent + kid pairs for 1-hour time slots. Note: this does not count toward your volunteer requirement for the season.

Develop a playlist and run the audio equipment during the meet to play music between swim races. Needed for June 18, June 30, and July 14 meets. Sign up via the Swim Meet Timing SignUpGenius.
Arrive at practice at 9am to fill team floaties with air and transport them from DYC storage to the pool deck. Stay until 11am to deflate and put them away. Needed June 19, June 26, July 3, and July 10.
Choose a night for a movie on the pool deck, coordinate with DYC for snacks and projector setup, and work with lifeguards to staff the event. DYC provides and purchases snacks.
Work with Marcia at Connoisseur Apparel to coordinate ordering of end-of-season trophies.
